K&T #10 train, in eastern Kentucky. One of my favorite things to do was wait for the train to come by so I could hear the conductor blow the horn. Me and my younger brother would wait for the train nearly every day after we came home from school. When we'd see it coming we'd put our arm in the air and pretend we're pulling the level. The conductor would always smile and pull the cord. The drawing is a different type of train than when I was a child but I wanted to draw the focus on my life growing up in Kentucky, coal was a way of life.
I have been doing traditional paintings and traditional drawings my whole life. I paint mainly with acrylics and love drawing with graphites and color pencils. I also am a photograper and do digital art to. I have won numerous awards throughout my life for my artworks. I am also self taught and have picked up a few tips here and there over the years. I was born and raised in Kentucky and love the outdoors. I do commissioned artworks, so if you'd like me to draw something for you, email me with any questions you may have.
